Arlington SheratonThe 2010 conference hotel is the Arlington Sheraton located at 1500 Convention Center Drive, Arlington, Texas. Room RatesWe have negotiated the following special room rates for our conference.
Single Rate $ USD 139.00 / night Children under 18-years-old stay free. (e.g. 2 adults and 2 children would pay the double rate). Check-in time begins at 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 12:00 PM (Noon). If rooms are available, the hotel will also offer these rates for three days before and after the conference. That means from July 4th through July 13th.
Hotel ReservationsYou are responsible for making your own hotel reservations. You can make your hotel reservations now. You don't have to wait until you register for the conference to make your hotel reservation. Please contact the hotel directly at (817) 261-8200 or (800) 442-7275 and tell them you are attending the Sotos Syndrome Support Association conference. Limited rooms are available at these rates and reservations must be made by June 8, 2010. Cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to scheduled arrival or your room deposit will be forfeited.
Complimentary Airport Shuttle ServiceThe Sheraton Arlington Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to and from the Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport. The shuttle departs the hotel once per hour, on the half hour from 6:30 AM - 9:30 PM, seven days a week. When you arrive at the DFW airport, please collect your luggage first. Then phone the hotel at (817) 261-8200 and ask for the shuttle to come pick you up. The hotel operator will explain where to catch the shuttle and give an estimated pick-up time. To return to the DFW airport at the end of your stay, please make advance reservations at the hotel concierge desk. Depending on traffic, it takes about 20 - 30 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel.
Shuttle Service to Area AttractionsThe City of Arlington provides a complimentary trolley (Fun Central Trolley) to and from many area attractions for all Sheraton hotel guests. Details are at www.arlingtontrolley.com. The Sheraton also offers a courtesy shuttle that may take guests anywhere within a three-mile radius. The hotel shuttle is BASED UPON AVAILABILITY between the hours of 7:00 AM to 10:30 PM. It will not run to Hurricane Harbor, Six Flags or the Ballpark when the Fun Central Trolley is running.
